On average the RNLI launches lifeboats up to 1500
times per year to deal with vessels suffering some kind of mechanical failure.
Many of these failures could have been prevented by following simple, common
sense maintenance guidelines.
Small Outboards in particular are light and
relatively cheap, yet they are expected to roar into life at the first pull
of the starter. This video is intended to help your outboard live up to that
expectation, by helping you to understand how it works and to look after it.
